At 8pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month MMC hold their social night at the Carpenter's Arms on Gate Street.
This month the lovely people at the 'Carps' will be providing some of their legendary cheese boards for us to enjoy with our pint. Due to lack of kitchen facilities the venue isn't known for it's food offerings, but have recently been exploring alternative ways to provide food outside of the usual Sunday roast or scampi and chips. To date these have included delicious vegan platters and their 'Cheesy Tuesdays', so when they asked if they could provide food for our social night, how could we say no.
Small local businesses like theirs are finding it more and more difficult in the present climate, and here at MMC we'll always try and do our bit to help out. If that happens be one cheese board at a time, then bring out the chutney, we're in.
